Oxford International Women’s Festival

March 10th, 6-8pm, 03 Gallery

£4 entry – all proceeds to Oxford International Women’s Festival.

Last year, we had the pleasure of being involved with the Oxford International Women’s Festival Poetry Competition, and the night of live readings that went with it.

It has been our honour to be able to turn the winning poems from the competition, along with others performed on the night, into the first Oxford International Women’s Festival Poetry Anthology, which will be launched on March 10th, during the 2011 festival. As well as special guests, we will have many of the prize winning poets back to read their work and, of course, sign copies of the anthology, on sale for £5 of which £2 per copy goes to the festival, for you.

So enjoyed the evening of poetry, music and film at the O3 on the 10th. Great to meet the other poets there – especially Nikki Fine and Joan Baxter. Loved their work. Anna Hobson made a big impression too. Good stuff Dan!
