The New Libertines at Chipping Norton Literary Festival

2012 is a big year for our New Libertines tour, and the next stop on our tour is going to be a super interesting and very exciting one.

APRIL 21ST, 8.30-10pm, entry FREE

We will be at The Chequers pub in Chipping Noprton cheerleading for spoken word as the official fringe of Chipping Norton Literary Festival, which has a programme featuring the likes of Andrew Motion and, well, loads of other people who aren’t as fab as the people we have performing for your delectation for FREE.

It’s SO easy to get to from Oxford – just hop on the S3 from Gloucester Green (bay 8) – don’t worry, we won’t let you miss the last bus back!

And more exciting still, the lovely festival organisers are hoping our event will kickstart something ongoing in Chipping Norton spoken word wise,a nd to that end, we are scheduling our event to sandwich a massive, super-welcoming-fantabulous open mic between two sets of amazing performers.

We bring you:

Anna McRory, President of Oxford University Poetry Society

Claire Trevien, author of Low Tode Lottery

Laila Sumpton, poet in residence at Keats House

Tina Sederholm, 2010 Oxford Hammer and Tongue slam champion

Paul Askew, editor of Ferment Zine
